SEBANYAK 15 unit rumah beserta 1 jembatan dan 1 bangunan penginapan amblas disebabkan fenomena abrasi yang terjadi di pesisir Pantai Boulevard, Kelurahan Bitung dan Kelurahan Uwuran Satu, Kecamatan Kepulauan Amurang, Kabupaten Minahasa Selatan, Provinsi Sulawesi Utara, Rabu (15/6), pukul 14.00 WITA.
Berdasarkan laporan visual dari Badan Penanggulangan Bencana Daerah (BPBD) Kabupaten Minahasa Selatan, rumah dan jembatan yang terdampak abrasi berada di bibir tebing yang berbatasan langsung dengan pantai. Abrasi kemudian menggerus tebing pantai sehingga menyebabkan belasan rumah bergerak dan amblas bak ditelan air laut.
Peristiwa amblasnya belasan rumah itu sempat menjadi tontonan warga sekitar dan beredar di media sosial.
“Belum ada laporan mengenai korban jiwa. Hingga saat ini, tim gabungan masih melakukan kaji cepat untuk mendata lebih lanjut kerugian materiil,” jelas Plt Kepala Pusat Data, Informasi, dan Komunikasi Kebencanaan Badan Nasional Penanggulangan Bencana (BNPB) Abdul Muhari, Ph.D., dalam rilisnya, Kamis (16/6).
Badan Meteorologi, Klimatologi, dan Geofisika (BMKG) telah mengeluarkan peringatan dini bahwa beberapa wilayah pesisir Indonesia berpotensi diterjang banjir mulai 11-23 Juni 2022 yang dipengaruhi fenomena Super Full Moon pada Selasa (14/6).
Sebagai antisipasi, masyarakat diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kewaspadaan, tidak beraktivitas di pesisir pantai sementara waktu, melakukan monitoring wilayah pesisir, dan memperbarui informasi prakiraan cuaca dari BMKG.
“Untuk tindakan sementara mencegah abrasi jenis pantai bertebing, masyarakat dibantu BPBD dan Dinas Pekerjaan Umum dapat membuat tanggul, baik itu dari karung pasir maupun kombinasi dengan bambu,” tandas Abdul. (RLS/J1)
