Wamenkeu: Platform Digital Jadi Ruang Kerja dan Perekonomian Indonesia di Masa Depan

WAKIL Menteri Keuangan (Wamenkeu) Suahasil Nazara mendukung inovasi dan pengembangan platform-platform digital yang dapat mempermudah cara bekerja masyarakat di masa depan, membantu pertumbuhan ekonomi, serta mendorong peningkatan kualitas layanan pemerintah kepada masyarakat.

Pada acara Academic Lecture yang diselenggarakan LPEM FEB UI secara daring, Rabu (10/11), ia juga mengatakan dengan adanya pandemi covid-19, transformasi digital yang sudah digalakkan pemerintah sejak lama dapat dilakukan secara lebih cepat dan masif. Sekarang ini, menurutnya, banyak pekerjaan yang dilakukan dengan dukungan teknologi informasi, mulai menyelesaikan sampai menerbitkan regulasi. Dengan dukungan teknologi informasi, pekerjaan itu menjadi lebih mudah dan efisien.

“Dalam konteks seperti ini, platform-platform digital menjadi sangat penting. Peran pemerintah adalah menyediakan infrastrukturnya. Ekosistem ekonomi digital yang meliputi e-commerce, e-education, financial technology, e-government, dan health technology menjadi bagian penting dari ruang kerja dan perekonomian kita di masa depan,” terangnya.

Pemerintah bersama Bank Indonesia dan OJK bersama-sama terus membangun infrastruktur kebijakan dan regulasi untuk mendukung potensi perkembangan industri digital, khususnya industri keuangan. Selain itu, layanan internet juga diperkuat agar bisa menjangkau daerah-daerah tertinggal, terdepan, terluar (3T) melalui pembangunan BTS dan Palapa Ring dengan Service Level Agreement-nya.

Di samping itu, literasi juga menjadi bagian penting dalam digitalisasi, yaitu literasi keuangan, digital, dan ekonomi. Maka dari itu, saat ini di beberapa daerah secara nasional telah dibentuk berbagai inisiatif untuk mendorong digitalisasi di daerah melalui pembentukan Satgas dan Tim Kerja.

Pada kesempatan yang sama, tak lupa ia mengingatkan satu hal yang sangat penting dalam melakukan analisis dampak dari kegiatan ekonomi yang dilakukan platform digital, business opportunity. Menurutnya, business opportunity memang harus dicari, digali, lalu dijalankan, dan dievaluasi.

“Business opportunity digital menciptakan pengurangan pada ekonomi yang sifatnya konvensional. Jadi, kalau yang terkait e-commerce, kalau e-commerce naik, bisa jadi konvensional commerce-nya terpindahkan/tergeserkan. Business opportunity yang sifatnya elektronik pasti pada awalnya berasal dari business opportunity yang sifatnya konvensional,” terangnya.

Ia juga mengungkapkan bahwa digitalisasi mendorong perubahan platform commerce dari konvensional ke elektronik, termasuk pajak.

“Saya ingin menyampaikan bahwa platform-platform digital dan e-commerce idealnya ikut menjadi mitra dari pemerintah untuk memastikan bahwa pindahnya nature dari business opportunity tersebut tidak mengurangi kemampuan negara untuk membiayai pembangunan di masa depan. Dengan adanya pembangunan infrastruktur yang baik, tentu hal itu akan kembali digunakan business opportunity kita,” tutupnya. (nug/hpy/J1)
