Tunjukan Potensi ke Kancah Internasional, Lebih dari 1.500 Produk UMKM akan Hadir di MotoGP Mandalika

PEMERINTAH melalui Kementerian Koperasi dan UKM (Kemenkop UKM) akan menyelenggarakan pameran produk usaha mikro, kecil, dan menengah (UMKM) di ajang MotoGP Mandalika pada 18-20 Maret 2022. Lebih dari 1.500 produk UMKM unggulan 14 provinsi akan digandeng untuk memamerkan produk mereka di Pertamina Mandalika International Street Circuit.

“Produk yang akan ditampilkan, yaitu kategori otomotif, merchandise, suvenir, healthy product, serta food and beverages. Dengan semangat kolaborasi berbagai pihak, lebih dari 1.500 UMKM akan menampilkan produk mereka pada event MotoGP Mandalika,” ujar Menteri Koperasi dan UKM (Menkop UKM) Teten Masduki dalam Opening Ceremony UMKM Goes to Mandalika di Gedung SMESCO Indonesia, Jakarta, Minggu (6/3).

Dilansir dari situs Kementerian Keuangan, Senin (7/3), pada 2021, industri otomotif mengalami peningkatan sebesar 17,82% serta menyerap sekitar 1,5 juta tenaga kerja di sepanjang rantai nilai industri. Menkop UKM mengatakan data ini menunjukkan bahwa permintaan akan pasar otomotif masih tinggi. Dengan membaiknya industri otomotif, secara otomatis juga mampu meningkatkan sektor lainnya, termasuk UMKM.

“UMKM merupakan sektor pendukung industri otomotif seperti sebagai supplier part atau komponen kendaraan sehingga UMKM harus turut serta dalam pertumbuhan industri ini,” katanya.

Lebih lanjut, Teten menilai event MotoGP merupakan agenda internasional yang harus dimanfaatkan seluruh pelaku UMKM Indonesia. Mereka berkesempatan untuk menunjukkan potensi di kancah internasional, menjadi sarana perluasan produksi, menjaring investasi, serta pengembangan produk yang berkualitas.

Event Pameran UMKM Otomotif dan Travel ini merupakan rangkaian promosi UMKM dan jasa pariwisata dalam mendukung MotoGP Mandalika. Kita harus menunjukkan produk UMKM memiliki kualitas, daya saing, dan mampu masuk ke rantai nilai nasional maupun global,” imbuhnya.

Ajang MotoGP Mandalika dapat menjadi tempat promosi bagi produk UMKM, pariwisata, dan investasi. Menkop UKM menginginkan terwujudnya peta jalan terukur agar 10 tahun ke depan dalam penyelenggaraan MotoGP Mandalika, Indonesia dapat menaikkan target industri otomotif, termasuk UMKM.

“MotoGP akan mengangkat industri UMKM dan otomotif. Kita harus punya target terukur. Kalau 10 tahun, saya optimis kita bisa menggerakan industri otomotif Indonesia berkelas dunia,” ungkap Teten.

Sebagai informasi, kegiatan dalam acara pre-event MotoGP Mandalika terdiri atas pameran 60 UKM bidang otomotif dan 40 UKM travel. Selain itu, juga diadakan coaching clinic safety riding oleh Ikatan Motor Indonesia (IMI), atraksi freestyle, dan pelepasan Team Riders Goes to Mandalika. (J1)
