Tilang Elektronik di Tol Trans Jawa dan Trans Sumatera Berlaku mulai April

KORPS Lalu Lintas (Korlantas) Polri mulai memberlakukan penerapan tilang elektronik (Electronic Traffic Law Enforcement/ETLE) di Tol Trans Jawa dan Trans Sumatera. ETLE akan berlaku aktif mulai April 2022.

Dirgakkum Korlantas Polri Brigjen Aan Suhanan menyebut ada dua jenis pelanggaran yang diberlakukan. Menurutnya, sosialiasi telah digelar sejak awal Maret lalu.

“Yang pertama adalah pelanggaran overload ini di Tol Trans Jabar. Kemudian, yang kedua, pelanggaran overspeed ini ada di Tol Trans Jawa dan Trans Sumatera,” ujar Aan dalam keterangannya, Senin (28/3).

Aan menyebut, mulai Jumat (1/4), 244 kamera ETLE Nasional Presisi akan diimplementasikan. Ia juga memerinci mekanisme penindakan yang bakal diterapkan Korlantas Polri.

“Jadi, setelah di-capture pelanggaran tersebut overload maupun overspeed, ini akan masuk ke back office Korlantas. Dari back office, diproses, divalidasi, dan diverifikasi. Setelah diverifikasi ini, layak untuk dikirim surat konfirmasi begitu secara fisik maupun melalui web yang ada,” ucapnya.

Aan mengatakan masyarakat yang telah mungunduh web tentang ETLE akan mendapat notifikasi jika melakukan pelanggaran. Jika tidak, surat konfirmasi ihwal pelanggaran akan dikirim ke alamat kendaraan.

“Setelah ada konfirmasi, kewajiban selanjutnya adalah membayar denda tilang. Denda maksimal yang sudah ditentukan itu melalui rekening Briva,” katanya.

Lebih lanjut, Aan berharap ETLE bisa membantu kepolisian menegakkan hukum lalu lintas. Di samping itu, penerapan ETLE juga sebagai upaya pencegahan kecelakaan.

“Tidak ada korban jiwa dengan melakukan pelanggaran overload maupun overspeed. Karena data kita yang ada, overspeed maupun overload ini 80% mengakibatkan fatalitas korban kecelakaan yang tinggi,” tutur Aan.

“Artinya, masyarakat diimbau tidak melakukan pelanggaran overload maupun overspeed karena fatalitasnya tinggi,” pungkasnya. (RLS/J1)
