Selamat Hari Raya Nyepi, Menag: Aktualisasi Nilai Tat Twam Asi Perkuat Moderasi

UMAT Hindu menjalani Catur Brata Penyepian sebagai rangkaian perayaan Hari Suci Nyepi dan Tahun Baru Caka 1944, Kamis (3/3). Mereka melakukan amati geni (tidak menggunakan dan menghidupkan api), amati karya (tidak bekerja), amati lelungan (tidak bepergian), dan amati lelanguan (tidak mendengarkan hiburan).

“Saya mengucapkan Selamat Hari Suci Nyepi dan Tahun Baru Caka 1944 kepada saudaraku seluruh umat Hindu di mana pun berada,” terang Menteri Agama (Menag) Yaqut Cholil Qoumas di Jakarta, Kamis (3/3).

Menurut Menag, umat Hindu memiliki kekayaan nilai-nilai positif yang bisa digali dan diamalkan dalam menjalani kehidupan di tengah kemajemukan Indonesia. Nyepi tahun ini bisa menjadi momentum untuk menggali makna sekaligus mengaktualisasikan nilai-nilai luhur, salah satunya Tat Twam Asi.

“Tat Twam Asi bermakna ‘aku adalah engkau’. Nilai ini menjadi sumber inspirasi bagi umat Hindu untuk hidup saling menghormati, rukun, dan bertoleransi,” jelasnya.

“Mari aktualisasi nilai Tat Twam Asi dan perkuat moderasi beragama,” sambung Yaqut.

Ia mengapresiasi tema Nyepi tahun ini, Aktualisasi Nilai Tat Twam Asi dalam Moderasi Beragama Menuju Indonesia Tangguh. Menag berharap umat Hindu dapat mengambil pelajaran dari perayaan Hari Suci Nyepi tahun ini dan menjadikannya sebagai lentera dalam menatap masa depan bangsa dan negara.

“Mari berikan jeda sejenak kepada alam agar kembali menata keseimbangan. Kita muliakan alam maka alam akan memuliakan harkat dan martabat kemanusiaan,” ajak Yaqut.

“Semoga pandemi covid-19 segera berlalu. Mari terus berkolaborasi dalam harmoni, perkuat moderasi beragama, menuju Indonesia maju,” tutupnya. (RLS/J1)
