PT Pupuk Indonesia (Persero) tengah mengembangkan program Retail Management (RM) untuk memudahkan petani dalam memenuhi kebutuhan pertaniannya. Program Retail Management diimplementasikan dalam rangka meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan dan memudahkan akses petani terhadap produk-produk Pupuk Indonesia Group melalui penguatan kemitraan dengan distributor dan kios.
Program Retail Management juga akan didukung sistem aplikasi digital yang bernama Retail Management System (RMS). Sistem ini dapat mempermudah dan mempercepat kios dalam memproses penjualan produk retail, baik komersial maupun pupuk bersubsidi. Dengan begitu, kebutuhan petani terhadap produk retail dan pertanian lainnya mudah terpenuhi.
Asisten Deputi Bidang Industri Pangan dan Pupuk Kementerian Badan Usaha Milik Negara (BUMN) Zuryati Simbolon mengapresiasi penerapan sistem Retail Management ini. Zuryati berkesempatan melihat langsung penerapan Retail Management Pupuk Indonesia di Kios Barokah Tani, Desa Jatianom, Kecamatan Susukan, dan Kios Duku Jaya di Desa Bangodua, Kecamatan Kelangenan, Kabupaten Cirebon, Jawa Barat.
“Ini salah satu kios dari Pupuk Indonesia yang menggunakan RMS untuk bisnis retailnya. Saya rasa bagus RMS ini menjadi salah satu transformasi bagi PIHC dalam rangka meningkatkan penjualan retail, juga untuk kerja sama distribusi dengan para kios,” demikian ungkap Zuryati dalam rilisnya, Minggu (20/2).
Dilansir dari situs Kementerian BUMN, ia pun berharap sistem digital dari Pupuk Indonesia berhasil diimplementasikan di seluruh mitra kios resmi perusahaan.
“Saya sudah coba sendiri dan sangat-sangat efektif serta efisien untuk di penjualan retail. Sukses untuk RMS. Harapannya, tahun ini 5 ribu kios dan tahun depan bisa seluruh kios untuk komersial maupun subsidi,” tambah Zuryati.
Sementara itu, Direktur Transformasi Bisnis Pupuk Indonesia Panji Winanteya Ruky meyakini Retail Management akan semakin memudahkan petani untuk mendapatkan pupuk dan produk retail lainya. Melalui Retail Management, Pupuk Indonesia juga akan menjadi perusahaan yang semakin berorientasi pada pelanggan dimulai dari pengolahan data analytics yang mampu meningkatkan pemahaman terhadap perilaku dan kebutuhan petani.
“Selain itu, Pupuk Indonesia juga dapat memperluas pangsa pasar produk retail yang selama ini belum tergarap secara optimal,” kata Panji. (J1)
