BALAPAN MotoGP Mandalika 2022 di Sirkuit Mandalika tetap dapat berlangsung dengan seru meski sempat diguyur hujan lebat dan tertunda. Gubernur Nusa Tenggara Barat (NTB) Zulkieflimansyah menonton langsung pertandingan tersebut bersama Presiden Joko Widodo (Jokowi), Ketua MPR Bambang Soesatyo, dan Ketua DPR Puan Maharani, bersama tamu penting lainnya, Minggu (20/3).
Pada kesempatan tersebut, Bang Zul, sapaan Gubernur, menuturkan bahwa Presiden dan jajarannya mengaku bangga bahwa akhirnya Sirkuit Mandalika terbukti mampu menggelar balap motor bergengsi dunia MotoGP 2022 dengan sukses.
Meskipun masih ada beberapa kekurangan yang harus dibenahi, keberhasilan Sirkuit Mandalika menggelar MotoGP 2022 telah mengubah wajah Indonesia.
‘Bersama Presiden, Ketua MPR, dan Ketua DPR, semua senang dan bangga pada Mandalika. Mandalika mengubah wajah Indonesia,’ tutur Gubernur melalui akun Facebook-nya dikutip dari laman resmi Pemerintah Provinsi NTB, Senin (21/3).
Kedatangan Presiden Jokowi untuk menyaksikan balap MotoGP ditemani Ibu Negara Iriana. Selain menyaksikan balapan, Presiden Jokowi juga menyerahkan piala kepada pemenang di podium.
Hasil balapan MotoGP Mandalika 2022 telah dirilis. Miguel Oliveira dinyatakan menang dengan catatan waktu 33 menit 27,223 detik, disusul Fabio Quartararo +2,205 detik, dan Johann Zarco +3,158 detik.
Setelah menyaksikan balapan MotoGP bersama Bang Zul, Presiden Jokowi diagendakan akan ke Bali untuk membuka Sidang Ke-144 The Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) di Kabupaten Badung. (RLS/J1)
