Menkeu Sri: Policy Maker dan Perbankan Harus Harmonis

HUBUNGAN antara pemerintah sebagai pembuat kebijakan dan perbankan harus terus dijaga agar seluruh pihak terus memainkan peran masing-masing dalam menjaga pemulihan ekonomi nasional.

Hal itu diungkapkan Menteri Keuangan (Menkeu) Sri Mulyani Indrawati dalam acara BNI Business Meeting di Jakarta, Sabtu (29/1).

“Indonesia adalah sedikit negara yang sudah bisa kembali pada pre-covid level. Ini berarti adalah salah satu bentuk nyata dari pemulihan ekonomi kita yang relatif cepat dan baik,” terangnya.

Dikutip dari situs Kementerian Keuangan, APBN sebagai fiscal tools merupakan instrumen utama dan terdepan untuk menangani covid, baik dari aspek kesehatan maupun dampak sosial dan ekonominya. Pada 2020 dan 2021, APBN melakukan peningkatan belanja negara untuk membiayai perawatan pasien covid sekaligus menjaga perekonomian agar tidak terkontraksi lebih dalam.

“Begitu ekonomi sudah tumbuh dan aman, semua investor mulai bergerak, konsumen bergerak, bank mulai bergerak. Kita (pemerintah) sekarang mundur menjadi yang di belakang sambil saya menyehatkan APBN lagi. That is exactly the design of policy. Oleh karena itu, hubungan antara policy maker dengan industri dan sektor keuangan harus terus dijaga harmonis,” kata Sri.

Dengan kondisi pandemi yang masih penuh ketidakpastian, Sri menekankan bahwa pemerintah tetap optimis, tapi juga waspada. Menurutnya, 2 hal itu memiliki keterkaitan yang tidak bisa dilepaskan satu dengan yang lainnya.

Selain itu, ia juga menyebut bahwa pemerintah juga akan fleksibel, tapi tetap fokus dalam mengelola APBN sehingga laju pemulihan ekonomi nasional tetap selaras dan stabil. (J1)
