Turut hadir sebagai narasumber pada acara ini, yaitu Direktur Jenderal Perdagangan Dalam Negeri Kemendag Oke Nurwan, Ekonom Senior Indef M Nawir Messi, Ketua Umum Asosiasi Pengusaha Indonesia (Apindo) Hariyadi Sukamdani, serta Direktur Riset Indef Berly Martawardaya.
“Diharapkan berbagai hal yang menjadi perhatian, baik dari sisi eksternal maupun internal, dapat ditangani bersama. Diharapkan juga Indef sebagai salah satu lembaga Think Tank memberikan banyak masukan dan kritik terhadap pemerintah ke depan. Menjadi hal yang baik, terutama melalui proyeksi yang dilakukan,” ujar Kasan.
Ia menyampaikan beberapa lembaga internasional telah melakukan berbagai proyeksi, bahkan revisi terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi, baik pada 2021 maupun 2022. Mengingat, variabel yang memengaruhi pertumbuhan ekonomi dan global terus bergerak dan tidak bisa dipastikan sesuai dengan yang diharapkan, termasuk dalam penanganan covid-19.
“Saat ini Indonesia termasuk salah satu negara terbaik dalam penanganan covid-19. Namun, saat ini kita melihat penanganan covid-19 di beberapa negara, khususnya Eropa, mengalami lonjakan signifikan dan ini akan memengaruhi proyeksi ekonomi di tahun ini dan tahun depan,” jelasnya.
Sementara itu, dalam paparannya, Oke mengungkapkan beberapa tantangan dalam pertumbuhan ekonomi. Pertama, mengenai pandemi covid-19 yang terjadi secara global menyebabkan setiap negara mengalami penurunan GDP sehingga vaksinasi menjadi solusi untuk menumbuhkan perekonomian.
Kedua, mengenai rantai pasok global. Menurut Freightwaves 2021, terjadi penurunan sopir truk dan pekerja di Amerika Serikat. Hal itu meningkatkan keterlambatan pelayaran di AS dan Tiongkok serta berbagai negara lainnya. Kemudian, menyebabkan peningkatan biaya logistik yang cukup tajam dan berpotensi kenaikan inflasi.
