KEMENTERIAN Perdagangan memfasilitasi penandatanganan kontrak (purchasing order) antara pelaku usaha Indonesia dan mitra dagang asal Australia untuk komoditas kopi instan dan kertas sebesar USD45,2 juta.
Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan secara daring pada Jumat (5/11). Penandatanganan disaksikan Direktur Jenderal Pengembangan Ekspor Nasional Didi Sumedi dan Kepala Indonesian Trade Promotion Center Sydney Ayu Siti Maryam.
“Sejak awal pembukaan Trade Expo Indonesia-Digital Edition (TEI-DE), termasuk hari ini, sudah dua kali Australia berpartisipasi dalam signing trade commitment. Penandatanganan kali ini mencapai USD45,2 juta. Sebelumnya, nilai kontrak dagang antara Indonesia dan Australia tercatat mencapai USD108,9 juta. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kerja sama ekonomi antarkedua negara,” kata Didi.
Didi menyampaikan, termasuk penandatanganan kontrak hari ini, total nilai transaksi trade commitment selama TEI-DE 2021 tercatat lebih dari USD1,02 miliar.
“Saya ucapkan terima kasih kepada seluruh perwakilan pemerintah Indonesia yang telah mendukung penuh dan memfasilitasi kerja sama antara Indonesia dan berbagai mitra dagang,” ujarnya.
Meskipun sesi interaktif di TEI-DE sudah berakhir, lanjut Didi, para buyers tetap bisa mengeksplorasi produk dan jasa unggulan Indonesia hingga 20 Desember 2021.

Total perdagangan Indonesia-Australia pada periode Januari—Agustus 2021 tercatat sebesar USD7,93 miliar. Dari nilai tersebut, ekspor Indonesia ke Australia sebesar USD2,14 miliar. Sementara itu, impor Indonesia dari Australia sebesar USD5,79 miliar. (RLS/Dag/J1)
