BANJIR yang melanda sejumlah kelurahan di Kota Tebing Tinggi, Sumatra Utara, belum surut hingga Senin tengah malam (22/11) pukul 00.30 WIB. Peristiwa ini berlangsung sejak Minggu dini hari (21/11). Kelurahan terdampak bertambah menjadi 13 di wilayah tersebut.
Dari perkembangan terakhir banjir di Kota Tebing Tinggi, sebanyak 3.686 KK terdampak di 13 kelurahan. Ketinggian muka air berkisar 20 hingga 100 cm.
Pada Senin (22/11), prakiraan cuaca menginformasikan hujan dengan intensitas ringan hingga sedang masih berpeluang terjadi pada siang hingga malam hari.
Peluang hujan dengan intensitas tersebut masih mungkin terjadi pada Selasa (23/11). Potensi banjir susulan perlu diwaspadai pemerintah daerah dan masyarakat setempat.
Adapun wilayah kelurahan di Kota Tebing Tinggi yang terdampak banjir, yaitu Tebing Tinggi Lama, Badak Bejuang, Mandailing, dan Pasar Baru di Kecamatan Tebing Tinggi Kota.
Selanjutnya, Kelurahan Brohol dan Bandar Sakti di Kecamatan Bajenis, Kelurahan Satria dan Tambangan Hulu di Kecamatan Padang Hilir, Kelurahan Pabatu, Tualang, dan Persiakan di Kecamatan Padang Hulu, serta Kelurahan Sri Padang di Kecamatan Rambutan.
Dalam merespons peristiwa ini, BPBD Kota Tebing Tinggi bersama dengan TNI, Polri, dinas terkait, maupun relawan masih bersiaga di wilayah terdampak. Petugas juga menyiagakan apabila harus melakukan evakuasi warga menuju ke tempat yang aman. (RLS/J1)
