SEBANYAK 150 kepala keluarga (KK) di Desa Mekar Jaya, Kecamatan Jabung, Kabupaten Lampung Timur, Provinsi Lampung, terdampak banjir pada Kamis (30/12) pukul 10.00 WIB. Banjir diakibatkan hujan dengan intensitas tinggi yang memicu air Sungai Way meluap.
Dari laporan yang diterima Pusdalops BNPB, selain merendam 150 rumah warga, banjir juga menyebabkan beberapa akses terganggu hingga hanya dapat dilalui kendaraan roda empat.
“Hingga berita ini dirilis, belum ada laporan jumlah pengungsi, tapi petugas dari BPBD Kabupaten Lampung Timur tetap siap siaga mengantisipasi jika terjadi banjir susulan,” ujar Plt Kepala Pusat Data, Informasi, dan Komunikasi Kebencanaan BNPB Abdul Muhari.
BPBD Provinsi Lampung juga terus melakukan upaya mitigasi kepada warganya, terlebih adanya informasi peringatan dini dari BMKG yang berlaku mulai 30 Desember 2021 pukul 07.00 WIB hingga 31 Desember 2021 pukul 07.00 WIB.
Adapun peringatan dini tersebut ialah adanya potensi dampak hujan lebat yang dapat mengakibatkan banjir atau banjir bandang di wilayah Provinsi Lampung dengan status Waspada.

Sementara itu, warga Kecamatan Cicalengka, Kabupaten Bandung, Provinsi Jawa Barat, gotong royong memperbaiki rumah warga yang rusak akibat terdampak banjir disertai longsor. Kegiatan gotong royong warga yang dibantu relawan juga untuk bantu membersihkan sisa lumpur akibat banjir dan longsor yang terjadi pada Rabu (29/12) pukul 16.30 WIB.
Banjir dan longsor terjadi di 2 desa di Kecamatan Cicalengka, yakni Desa Babakan Peuteuy dan Desa Cicalengka Wetan. Akibatnya, 10 unit rumah terdampak dan 1 unit rumah rusak sedang.
“BPBD Kabupaten Bandung melaporkan sebanyak 41 warganya atau 11 KK terdampak dan belum ada laporan adanya warga yang mengungsi,” ujar Abdul.
Adapun kebutuhan mendesak yang dapat membantu warga terdampak, yaitu makanan siap saji, alat kebersihan, tikar, selimut, karung, pacul, dan sekop.
Dengan banyaknya laporan banjir maupun bencana hidrometeorologi lainnya yang masuk dari beberapa wilayah, BNPB terus mengimbau masyarakat untuk tetap waspada terhadap bencana yang dipicu faktor cuaca dengan melakukan rencana mitigasi dan kesiapsiagaan sesuai potensi bencana yang ada di wilayahnya.
“Mitigasi dan kesiapsiagaan masyarakat dan pemangku kebijakan yang tepat dapat mengurangi jatuhnya korban jiwa maupun harta benda,” ungkapnya. (RLS/J1)
